Bournemouth Hotels: Choosing Your Hotel in Bournemouth

Bournemouth is a very popular town with tourists throughout the summer season because the weather is normally pretty good and it has some of the country's cleanest beaches as well. However, if you do intend to visit this coastal resort at these times of the year then it is best to book accommodation well in advance. As you will soon discover there is plenty of different kinds of accommodation to choose from which will suit all budgets. Here we will take a look at a small selection of hotels that are available to stay in when you visit Bournemouth.

1.     Connaught Hotel – This is well located in the West Cliff area of this coastal town and is surrounded by an acre of its own grounds.  Because of its central location you are just a short walk from the beach but also the centre of the town itself. You are a matter of minutes away from Bournemouth Pier and the town's seven miles of beautiful golden sandy beaches. If the weather is less sunny than usual you can spend time enjoying the town's aquarium. 

Although built in 1901 it offers you the kind of facilities to be found in any modern hotel today. As well as two heated swimming pools (one inside and one outside) there is the spa pool, sauna and steam room. For the fitness fanatic, there are fully equipped resistance training and cardiovascular training suites. There are a total of 93 rooms available to rent with 56 being located in the main part of the hotel and the other 27 in the lodge located next door. 

2.    The Montague Hotel – This again is situated in the West Cliff area of the town and has 31 en-suite rooms in which visitors can stay. All of these have been refurbished to a high standard in a variety of modern designs.  The hotel also has a restaurant for you to dine in. As well as using only local produce it is renowned for serving up good quality fish dishes to its guests as well. 

3.    Hermitage Hotel – This hotel has sea views and is situated directly opposite Bournemouth Pier, Central Gardens and the Conference Centre. You are only a few minutes' walk away from the shops and restaurants. The accommodation offers an atmosphere that will help you to relax and unwind and feels like a home away from home. The rooms are tastefully decorated to add a touch of sophistication to your stay.

4.    The Norfolk Royale Hotel – This is located in the heart of Bournemouth and is easily reached by car or by train from London. All of the hotel's ninety five rooms have en-suite facilities and which in recent years have been refurbished to a very high standard. As well as the normal single, double, twin and family rooms on offer the hotel has a number of suites as well. These are equipped with a private bedroom, lounge and bathroom. 

Each room in this hotel comes with bath and/or shower and internet access. Plus they all have tea and coffee making facilities. TAll bathrooms are stocked with bathroom and grooming products from Molton Brown.
